We're proud to share that we have joined Fair Trade LA as an official Business Member. As a self-described "passionate community dedicated to creating a fairer world by supporting ethical and sustainable trade," FTLA's mission is to promote fair trade principles and ensure that artisans and farmers around the world receive fair wages and work in safe conditions.
For the past twenty years, we've also made it our mission to ensure that the branded merchandise we provide supports workers, communities, and the planet. We believe that transparency and equity should guide every business decision, from how products are made to how communities are impacted. FTLA's mission reflects these same priorities and reinforces our commitment to building a more just and sustainable economy.
Los Angeles is deeply rooted in manufacturing, particularly in apparel and textiles, and its local factories and makers continue to shape the region's identity and economy. It is also the largest Fair Trade city in North America, thanks to the advocacy and organizing efforts of FTLA.
