Our Community
Just Markets
Ethix's community work is rooted in building Just Markets, where workers' rights, environmental sustainability, and supply chain transparency are foundational. Through partnerships with groups like ARAMP, CEPA, Buy Your Values, Labor 411, and the Garment Worker Center, we help institutions align their purchasing with their values.
We advocate for fair labor practices and more responsible production models, alongside environmentally responsible manufacturing. Together, we are shifting systems toward an economy that is more just, sustainable, and transparent for all.
Buy Your Values UCLA
Buy Your Values UCLA is a group of student activists who want to encourage bookstore purchases to reflect progressive values by stocking ethical and sustainable UCLA apparel and other merchandise. Students have the power to vote with their dollars and make sure that our UCLA merchandise isn't made with exploited labor, or unsustainable manufacturing techniques.
Alliance for Responsible Apparel Manufacturing and Purchasing (ARAMP)
Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance (CEPA)

The Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance (CEPA) is a project of the Ignatian Solidarity Network and Ethix Merch. The Alliance provides support to institutions seeking to integrate these values into their purchasing through educational resources, immersive formational opportunities, networking, and mentorship.
Capeltic Coffee

Capeltic is a coffee brand produced by Yomol A'tel, an Indigenous Tseltal cooperative from Chiapas, Mexico. Yomol A'tel's mission is to create dignified work and sustainable value chains with Indigenous communities and vulnerable groups, producing high-quality coffee while supporting responsible consumption and a fairer economy. At Ethix Merch, we are the exclusive U.S. distributor, helping bring their coffee to universities, businesses, and communities that value fair and responsible sourcing.
Coalitions and Advisory Boards
Healthy Textiles Coalition
Ethix Merch is a member of the Healthy Textiles Coalition, a group working to advance natural fiber systems and reduce the harmful impacts of synthetic textiles and fast fashion. Through this membership, we support efforts to promote healthier materials, responsible production, and a more sustainable textile industry. Through the coalition, we are working on a Grown and Sewn program to encourage regional supply chains and more localized institutional purchasing.
