The majority of our clients have projects that fall within the standard print option. This does not mean they are choosing lousy shirt designs- basic can be quite exciting!
If you let us help you select a strong color combination and print placement, we can take any shirt idea to the next level. Our art team has years of experience specifically around T-shirt printing. We can play with different fonts, custom images, and coloration until you have the exact design you love. Click Here to see more examples of basic screen printing.
Of course, if you already have an artist you are working with, we can get the final artwork file directly from you and print your prepared design.
- Your design is 1-6 colors
- You need the most economical pricing
- You want to have an eco-friendly ink option
- You need a union bug printed near your design
- You are looking for a traditional style of T-shirt
Printing with Plastisol Ink:
This is traditionally what is used to print basic T-shirts. The texture feels a bit plasticy because the ink has binded to the top of the fabric. You can depend on plastisol to give you a close color match, strong opacity (even on dark colored shirts), and standard design longevity.
Printing with PVC/Phthalate Free Plastisol:
A safer and softer option, phthalate free inks are new to the screen print industry. They were developed as an alternative to the more toxic regular plastisol, and as a result they feel relatively softer. They cost about 15 – 20% more then standard plastisol prints.
Printing with Water Based Ink:
Water based inks are a great way to achieve soft shirts while being the most environmentally safe- but only if you are printing on a light-colored T-shirt. In order to print water-based inks on dark colored shirts, you have to use dangerous discharge printing with formaldehyde.
We prefer to let the natural process of the inks “dye” the shirt by setting into the material. This keeps it healthy for you, the workers, and the planet!
